Workshop and Call for Papers:

Submission deadline: March 15th, 2019 April 1st, 2019 April 7th, 2019 (New deadline)

Dear Researchers,

Turkey’s 5thRobotics Conference (ToRK 2019), will be held at Özyeğin University Campus on 26-28 June 2019 date. In ToRK 2019, three different types of papers can be sent:

Research paper: 6-8 pages, previously unpublished research output.
Review paper: 4 to 6 pages, published in international journals and conferences in recent years.
Brief paper: 2 to 3 pages, yet immature results to be published, last minute scientific developments and giving the opportunity to get feedback.

The deadline date of submitting papers is April 7th, 2019. Accepted manuscripts will be allowed to have an oral presentation for 15 minutes. Oral presentations or poster presentations will be provided for accepted papers. Poster presentations will be provided for the accepted short papers. The language of the manuscripts and the presentations should be Turkish (if the first author does not speak Turkish, the paper can be presented in English). WORKSHOP, SPECIAL or TRAINING SESSIONS

We also expect suggestions for organizing a workshop, special session or training session at ToRK 2019. Please use the following template in your suggestions:

Title

Regulatory information: institution, address, phone, email

Recommended duration and expected number of presentations

Coverage (special session, training session or short summary of the workshop)

Contents: Planned program, list of invited speakers (if any), estimated listener profile and number of speakers.

You can send your workshop suggestions in PDF format to tork2019@ozyegin.edu.tr until April 7th, 2019.

Workshops and training sessions are planned for the first day of our conference i.e. June 26, 2019. Special sessions will take place in the conference program. Please note that the final program, invited speakers and other details can be found on the ToRK 2019 website.

ToRK 2019, aim’s to bring the researchers, educators and practitioners in Turkey to explore the frontiers of latest scientific and technological developments in robotic systems, through papers, workshops and invited talks. In this context, it is to discuss with our industrial participants and scientists how the needs and capabilities of our country can be enhanced by considering the international competition. In addition, the conference will facilitate to share the capacity of the laboratories working on robotics as well as to properly plan the research topics of the undergraduate / graduate students through compilation reports and research presentations (short papers). We would like to remind you that, on the first day of the conference besides the workshops, educational seminars will be conducted by robotics researchers in order to support young researchers.
